Kia ora, my name is Alisha, and I’m the founder of KAHA.ORA.
KAHA.ORA is more than just a brand..
it represents all of us.
KAHA embodies our resilience, our strength, and our determination.
ORA reflects our wellbeing, our health, and the life we strive to nurture.
This concept comes purely from personal experience. Growing up, the gym has always been the centre of my life, and it continues to be. Working as a personal trainer while pursuing my own goals, I became accustomed to normalising that if my tights ripped, it meant a good workout, but that shouldn’t be the whakaaro.
So here we are: creating an activewear brand not just for our Polynesian-bodied wahine (and hopefully tāne in time), but to build a space where we can embrace who we are and train without limits, without fear that our gear will hold us back.
Together, KAHA.ORA honors not only who we are today but also the legacy of our tupuna, their strength, endurance, and adaptability shaping the way we move, train, and live with purpose.
